In May of 2001, Jessie Charboneau (Charbs) and I (Mego) jammed with Kelly and just waited for Caitlin Trabert and Laura Daily to practice with us as well. Eventually they did, and we formed some sort of chick punk (boca pork punk) band. We played our first show in late July, It was horrible, beyond belief. At that point, Charbs was the bassit, Laura was the other guitarist, and Caitlin sang. August was a rediculously busy month and we got nothing done, but played our second show in early September, and it was a million times better than the one in July, but still horrible. In late September, Charbs and Laura quit due to creative differences. In mid October, we found Rita Fisher and it was decided she would be our bassist. We started practicing with her in mid November. October was around the time Caitlin got grounded for life though, so she wasn't allowed to practice anymore, and then about 9 months later just didn't have time. Kelly, Rita, and I decided we needed to get in gear and play shows. So we did, and here we are
